UX & UI Designer
Two unions becoming one
As a UX designer, my work on the Akavia project was a challenging and rewarding experience. My main responsibility was to lead the effort in creating a new visual identity for the union, which brought together two separate labor unions. I facilitated workshops with stakeholders to navigate the process and ensure that the needs and desires of all parties were taken into account. As part of this process, I also conducted a comprehensive traffic analysis of both the Jusek and Civilekonomerna websites to gain a better understanding of what members were looking for and what was important to them. I also conducted interviews with advisors and other external parties to get their perspective on what should be included on the website.
To make the transition easier, I also created an internal website for employees to keep them informed of what was happening during the process.
When it came to the external website for members, I created version 1.0 of the website with a focus on making information easily accessible and user-friendly. I also made sure to create a content calendar to ensure that the website was always updated and relevant for members.
I believe that this case study demonstrates my ability to work with various stakeholders, my ability to navigate the process, my ability to create a user-friendly and easily navigable website, and my ability to gather and utilize user data to make decisions about the website's content.
